We’ve had an amazing beta period, and we want to thank each of the thousands of beta users for your great feedback and participation while we ironed out the final kinks and added the last bit of polish. We hope you’ve enjoyed this time to use Pulley for free and that you have a feel for how it can help you and your business. We’ve come a long way, and today we’re excited to announce that soon we’ll be officially releasing Pulley into the world.
Pulley will be publicly released on Monday, October 4th. On this date, we will begin charging to use Pulley, and you will no longer need an invite to sign up. This is also a special date for us, as Pulley will share a birthday with its sister-product, Big Cartel. We didn’t plan for that to happen, but it’s a pretty cool (nerdy?) coincidence.
We thought long and hard about how to accurately charge for Pulley, while making it as affordable as possible for independent artists. Similar services have complicated pricing plans where your bill fluctuates on bandwidth usage, they take a percentage of your sales, or you’re only allowed a certain number of orders, but we wanted to keep things nice and simple. With that in mind, here is our Pulley pricing:

Each plan has unlimited bandwidth, unlimited orders, and starts out with a free 14-day trial. We think this will allow new sellers to get started very affordably, but also allow larger sellers to get more bang for their buck. There are no surprise charges, we don’t take a cut of your sales, and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you need more than 30 GB, we can arrange that too.
On October 4th, all beta accounts will be placed in a 14-day free trial of the plan most appropriate for the amount of products and storage that they have. Not to worry, this won’t affect your current setup, products, or orders. From there, you’re welcome to continue to use Pulley for free during those 2 weeks, and you can activate your account at any point during that time. Best of all, as a token of our appreciation, we will be offering all beta accounts 50% off your first 3 months!
